Title:
Rational Expressions, Radicals and Quadratic Equations
Class:
Algebra 105
Prerequisites:
Algebra 103
Duration:
20 Hours

Description:

We introduce the rational expressions and how to add and multiply them. We will connect to radicals and operations on radicals. Students will be able to solve radical equations. The square root property is presented with applications on quadratic equations. Students will learn the quadratic formula and how to solve a quadratic equation by completing the square. We will conclude with an introduction to graphing a quadratic function and defining its domain and range. Applications include linear and circular accelerated motions.
