Title:
Functions and Graphs
Class:
Algebra 107
Prerequisites:
Algebra 105
Duration:
18 Hours

Description:

The course covers graphing linear, quadratic, cubic, and special functions such as the absolute and step functions. How functions vary, their symmetry, the slope, and function parity. Next we cover the domain and range of these functions and the absolute value equation and inequalities. We transition to solving systems of linear equations at three variables. Applications cover a wide spectrum of linear, quadratic and rational functions. Students will learn how to plot graphs using graphing calculators
