Intermediate Geometry
Class:
Geometry 105
Prerequisites:
Geometry 101
Duration:
20 Hours

Description:

The course includes a solid understanding of polygons inscribed and circumscribed to circles. We cover the properties of medians, bisectors, altitudes and their extension to the right angle triangle. Projections and proportions in similar triangles include applications with lines tangent to circles. We cover the Harmonic Divisions and their applications, orthogonal circles, definition and applications of geometric locus of points in the plane enjoying specific properties of angles and distances. An introduction to conics will be presented.
