Description:

This introductory probability course is designed for students who plan to study statistics required for High School AP and college freshmen courses. We begin with basic definitions of probabilities, the Venn diagram, the law of large numbers, addition and multiplication rules of probability, and conditional probabilities. The next chapter includes permutation, combination, and counting rules. We conclude this course with mean, variance, and standard deviation of the Binomial Distribution as well as the Poisson distribution.
