Description:

Students who are looking to expand their knowledge in Statistics will begin with the Normal Distribution applications and the Central Limit Theorem followed by the normal approximation to the Binomial Distribution. The second major topic of this course deals with confidence intervals for the means when the standard deviation is known or unknown. We conclude the study with confidence intervals for proportions, variances, and standard deviations. Applications geared towards the student interests will be presented.
